Upscale Lodging for your Pets
Our Pet Resort is designed for maximum comfort, focusing on keeping boarding stress-free and fun! The facility was designed by a veterinary architect who specializes in both veterinary hospitals and boarding facilities geared to the reduction of sound and odor, which are two of the most significant factors in keeping your dog more relaxed.
For peace of mind, we have a full-service veterinary hospital just upstairs should any medical issues arise while in our care. For your convenience, we can also perform routine wellness veterinary care for your pet while they are lodging with us.
You can rest easy knowing your dog is happy and safe while you are away.
We have two lodging options to choose from. Some pets are more social than others and prefer to be among their fellow guests, while others are not so social and prefer a more secluded, individual accommodation. For continuous comfort, each room is automatically temperature regulated.
Deluxe Rooms (for the social interactors)
Our deluxe rooms range in size from 34” to 3’2” in width to various depths of 5’, 6’or 7 feet. We understand that some guests need more room than others, and we are here to accommodate.
Luxury Suites (for the low-key or anxious guests)
Our luxury suites measure 5’x 5 ½’and are designed to look like the inside and outside of a typical house. This environment is less stressful for your pet if they are in a location that is more like their home environment. We want them to see their suite as their “home away from home.”
Our feline accommodations are designed for a quiet, peaceful stay—Four-room condos with a den, bathroom, and two comfort cubbies and window views.
Being part of a full-service animal hospital means our kennel staff has extensive experience regarding the most common medical needs of our guests.
- Knowledge of many symptoms that may become present often means catching a medical issue before it escalates.
- Medication administration
- Special feeding instructions
From the Hotel Kitchen, we serve a combination of Veterinary EN Gastroenteric canned and dry food, which is easy to digest and absorb…perfect for dogs in a boarding situation, and our guests love it. Our Pet Parents are more than welcome to bring their food, especially for those on special diets.
Activity, Activity, Activity!
We want to change the model of dog boarding from hanging out in a cage or “running” all day to a day of play and fun. Our focus is to keep your pet active throughout the day.
Canine Influenza both strains…N2 & N8
Feline Distemper (FVRCP)
Temperament testing is a requirement for dogs to join our play group sessions. This process incurs a single fee and can be completed either before their boarding reservation or upon arrival. Our play groups span from one to one and a half hours and are held twice daily, accompanied by three additional potty breaks. There’s no need for a trial run before boarding, although it’s important to note that our slots tend to fill up rapidly. Moreover, it’s essential to be a client of our veterinary service to avail boarding facilities, which involves a one-time charge for a new patient examination that establishes your pet’s records in our clinic.
Your Pets Are In Good Hands
Our staff at KMAH is certified in both Dog Body Language and Group Play (two separate certifications that include 16 classes with 16 respective tests). Hence, they are all well-trained to notice any anxiety in your dog before it becomes an issue.
